Jim Murray

Jim Murray is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners in San Francisco. He joined the predecessor firm in 2014.

He advises leading companies in wireless, mobile devices, satellite communications, aerospace, automotive, defense, media, and internet across the United States, Europe, and Asia. His experience includes mergers, leveraged buyouts, special committee assignments, corporate restructurings, and capital markets transactions. He has also contributed to numerous successful TMT IPOs on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and LSE.

Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years at Morgan Stanley in New York and Chicago, and five years at Monitor Company, a strategy consulting firm, in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Cambridge.

Mr. Murray holds an AB in Government from Harvard College and studied International Relations and Economics at the London School of Economics.
